Our Story

Beyond Bliss Films began in 2016, when founder Matthew Levins started capturing weddings as Matthew Levins Videography. After a full season of filming love stories in 2017, it became clear this wasn’t just a side project—it deserved a brand of its own. In early 2018, Beyond Bliss Films officially became an LLC, dedicated solely to crafting wedding films.

Since then, we’ve been lucky enough to travel all over Vermont (and beyond), capturing couples in some pretty unforgettable places—from mountaintops and lakeside docks to hidden castles and rustic barns. Along the way, we’ve been honored to receive The Knot’s Best of Weddings Award and to be featured on VermontWeddings.com.

Through it all, one thing has stayed the same: our love for telling stories. Every couple, every wedding, every film is different—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Go with Beyond Bliss Films, you will not regret it! Matt filmed our wedding in June 2016 and our video is my favorite memento from the day. I was initially nervous about the filming process. I am camera shy and was worried the filming would be both awkward and distracting. I am so grateful that we worked with Beyond Bliss Films. Matt is friendly, easy going and professional; he was a joy to have at our wedding and managed to capture our day without any awkwardness or intrusion. He took the time to get to know us personally, ensuring that our video truly reflected who we are as a couple and the uniqueness of our wedding. Our video encompasses all the major events of the day as well as many smaller details and heartfelt moments that I would have forgotten if not for his filming. My wife and I were debating whether or not it was worth hiring a videographer. Our first thoughts were "why do you need a videographer for, we are never going to watch those videos. " The truth is, the wedding day went by so fast, we couldn't remember much of it. Hiring Beyond Bliss Films was the best decision we made. Beyond Bliss Films were extremely flexible and professional throughout, and they captured the best and most important moments of our wedding. I highly recommend them!

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Matt and the rest of the Beyond Bliss team! They provided us with exactly what we wanted: a video of the ceremony, of the toasts/first dances, and a highlight video to show family and friends. Matt and Bry were absolutely amazing!! Professional and yet so laid back and relaxed which was a perfect combination for our special day. They worked so well with our photographer, it was like they were an all in one package that just made the flow for the day that much better. Matt and Bry were also super quick in getting us our sneak peak the next morning. Our guests have been raving about it ever since, including telling us that reliving the day through the video brought them to tears! (of joy of course!) If you are looking for a videographer to capture your special day in all the ways you could possibly dream, I highly recommend Beyond Bliss Films, Matt & Bry! I am constantly looking back on our big day and thinking about how blessed we were to have Beyond Bliss Films be a part of it. From the very beginning, Matt and Bryanna showed such professionalism towards us. They answered all of our questions throughly and made our decision to hire them VERY easy. Matt checked in numerous times throughout the (almost) year, taking note of all of our special requests and final wedding details. One thing that I really liked was that they offered to Skype us before our big day as a chance to meet them. On our wedding day, Matt and Bryanna met us at the Garden Gables Inn - later, they followed us to our ceremony/reception site. They documented all of the most intimate moments - girls and guys getting ready, getting into my wedding dress, our first look, all of our family pictures and even captured cute videos of our "dogs of honor". From what we heard from guests, they also shot some awesome pre ceremony shots and even used their drone to document the beautiful fall day. They were front and center to capture our entire ceremony and even took time after the ceremony to gather more footage. Matt and Bryanna were SO meticulous about capturing the most perfect views at our ceremony site and the types of shots. They would even test different shots before putting us into the video. They made us feel EXTREMELY comfortable and at ease our entire wedding day. They made everything feel natural for us. Even during those crazy dancing hours, there they were capturing more and more video. Although we have only seen a short (DREAMY) snippet video, I am confident that our wedding video will be beautiful beyond words. I would recommend Matt and Bryanna over and over again, and honestly, I wish I had the chance to shoot with them all over again. Not only are they both extremely personable, they are professional and polished. I could not picture our wedding day without the two of them. We are so so so excited to see our final wedding video. We cannot thank them enough!

Having a videographer was always a must. My husband and I wanted to be able to relive every moment of our special day, from the details to the intimate moments shared. Matt and Bryanna far surpassed our expectations, so look no further for your videographer! For only meeting Matt and Bryanna for the first time at the rehearsal it was as if they had known us forever. They captured every detail of our special day so beautifully. Matt in particular is just a genuinely nice guy and so easy to work with, and Bryanna of course was also nothing short of amazing. As my husband and I are coming up on our 1st Wedding Anniversary we are excited to be able to sit down and relive our wedding all over again! Matt + Bryanna will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
